What is a TA? I thought it meant teaching assistant, but that doesn't make sense in a burger joint. I don't get it :(

Yea it is a Teaching Assistant. But at JWU since its a cooking school the TAs work in various dining halls as supervisors to the other work studies or people doing their co-op. That's what I get for going to culinary school haha
