Try expert guitar. If you beat hard, i think you'll find that expert isn't much worse than the last few sets of hard,

Beckey is right. If you beat Hard, you'll get fairly far through expert before you start feeling really overwhelmed.
Expert is a lot about chord changes and hammer-on's/pull-off's, so if you get practice on those things, you'll be good to go.
