Is anyone any good at composing letters to banquet halls to inquire on pricing? Can someone please help, as I'm not sure what details they need?

Thank you!!!

It's for my stepdad's surprise 50th birthday party. I get to do alot of the planning so as he doesn't find out about it.

Can you self-cater it? How many people are you expecting? What's you budget like?

I ask because our Church rents its main hall.

Mom was thinking of hiring a caterer and renting a hall if the restaurant idea fails miserably (ie. to expensive). But, we will probably go with the legion here in Verdun if that is the case...cheap and a very central location to the majority of the guests. As well, his father is a member, so even cheaper...

Why not call? lwaxana May 27 2007, 13:22:10 UTC
Hello Sugar,

Why do you not give them a call instead?
Also they can work out a meal plan based on the amount of money you wish to spend and what style of food/service are you looking.

Basically are you doing a buffet or full sit down meal?
How much money per person do you wish to spend?
Do you want things like wine and drinks included?

Just a thought ...

Love,
Lwaxy

I got a letter done. Beth helped since she use to do it where she worked. I prefer the letter, because I'm unsure of a couple details yet, so I just want a general idea.

Hey, you haven't called me back yet...
