Is one unattractive because they are large? I never thought so. For example, albeit a celebrity, Queen Latifah - pretty damned hot. It, to me, is more the way one carries themselves then the actual weight. Itself. Maybe I say this because I am large. Something to soothe my fragile ego…and herein begins today’s tale

You ARE beautiful! It's in the eyes, the smile, and above all, the heart. It doesn't have a whole hell of a lot to do with the waist line. And we all have days where we feel sexy, or pretty, or frumpy and blah - no matter what size we are. Your friend sounds pretty unattractive because there's something about her heart or her imagination that's too small or too limited to see past the surface. I fell in love with you (and Alan too, for that matter) the minute I met you. It's never changed an iota even though we see each other rarely for now.

I'm so biased here. I really think weight is attractive (though I have a completely different standard for myself, annoying people no end). I think you're beautiful, and I would think you're beautiful even if I didn't know what sort of woman you are.

gah, what kind ov friend would say something like that O_o aren't we bombarded enough by the media giving people this idea that only very slim, young women are attractive when it's totally not the case! you had it bang on when you said different strokes for different folks, nobody considers everyone attractive but to categorize someone as unattractive in general because ov their size is not accurate.
