Hey,
Alright, I know you're all on break and whatnot, and probably wont check this. buuuuut! I need to gather audience feedback for my media.

so, I need you to tell me what works, and what doesn't. and please be honest, i need this feedback for the evaluation essay, and if you just say: "great!". that wont help me much. pretend you're critiquing

I think the cover looks great. I just recommend moving the girls head lower and having the whole magazine name show

The title - two fonts? I don't care for it. Maybe if you could blur the edges of the letters it would look better to me.

The date of the issue does not need to be that big.

"Exclusive" is spelled wrong.

I like the inside though.

Also, "27 CALENDAR Importa?nt" seems to be spelled wrong.

i saw this on the beauty101 community, thought i could help out

the cover
-i'm not sure, but normally magazine cover pictures are normally crisp and clean, this seems a little blurry and soft for this kind of magazine
- i love the format of the 95 thingy, it looks great, but you may want to move everything on that side a little to the right, closer to the edge. NOT MUCH THOUGH CAUSE THEN IT WILL LOOK FUNNY! just play with it, but definatly closer to the edge.
- as the one girl above me said, i'm not too hot on the "chic" and the "mag" being of two differnt fonts, the fonts don't work well together. maybe two more suiting fonts, the current chic one and a cursive for the mag?

the inside content page
- the quote on the feature girls pic. doesnt show up
- it seems kind of clutters, maybe think about boxes around the categories, and the text seems to run into each other a bit

over all, i think its a great job, just some tuning up to do!

yeah, the girl's all blury because i had to enlarge the picture, and it got all pixelated, so i tried to fix it. im going to 'sharpen' her up.

i tried to do the ElleGirl type of style for the title, you know how it's two different fonts? but thanks, i will try and look for two more suiting fonts.

heyy i really love the inside, the cover though, the background seems a little complicated, making the cover a little cluttered - kind of liek i'm not sure what I should be looking at. could you make it a little simpler? just my suggestion :P good job though!

Cover
the fonts for your mag title isnt quite working for me.
yes, its an oldstyle font and a sans serif but still not contrasting enough.
plus, i had a hard time recognizing what the name of your mag was.
the model is to in the way. and the title is something that really should stand out.
actually, im not to crazy about the model in general.
too fuzzy of a blur on her, i dont think it looks much like a cover shot.
you did a good job though with the blurb typography. i'm fond of the the "dont label."

Inside
the black and white pic overlays the red ring, and not in a good way.
i'd lower her that pic.
i like the layout, but the little side pics and notes seem a little much. i'd cut down on the number of them.

i think you did a good job, but it could just use a couple of changes to make it more effective!
what did you have to do this project for? seems like fun.
