We have to buy a new fridge, please give us your opinion....

Hi everyone.
we have to buy a new refrigerator. (ours broke!)

in any case, we have black appliances. Do you think it's ok to purchase a stainless steel refrigerator even though the dishwasher, range, double ovens and microwave are all black? Please advise.

Um, I guess so? Silver together with black doesn't seem that inappropriate.

But I really don't know about these sort of things.

I'd stick with black. I think stainless steel is a stupid fad that will go out of style eventually. It's hardly stainless - you have to constantly keep wiping it down because it constantly gets fingerprints and other smudges all over it.

(And I have all stainless steel appliances.)

BTW, I'd strongly recommend checking out one of the Sears outlets. There's one at the great mall. Great deals!

Yeah, it's tough. We went with stainless steel (against the recommendation of my cousin who has it as well) because we thought it looks the most modern. It's just a pain in the ass to keep clean, though.
