Hey there! Well done and congrats on completing your first year at med school.
I remember those days well; hard work, at times frustrating, but very rewarding and fun too. One thing though, do make sure you give yourself some 'you time'. It's so easy to live, breathe and sleep medicine and forget that you need to relax occasionally. Here's to relaxing - in whatever form that may be!
Thank you! Very hard work, very frustrating sometimes, but yes, incredibly rewarding and a lot of fun - you remember correctly ;) I have tried to take me time, but it's hard - there's always more studying to do. However, I have a boyfriend these days (also med student, but fifth year instead of first), and he calms me down a lot :)
That's great. It's good to have someone close who knows what it's like and to give you support (and vice versa). I'm genuinely pleased for you. You deserve happiness and success and I'm glad it's happening for you. ;-)
As someone who well into the abyss of law school (just graduated), let me congratulate you on finishing you first year. It'll be hard and some things get shifted and dropped, but it sounds like it's great for you. <3
Welcome back! Long time no see. I'm glad things are going well for you. Those transitions can wipe you out, but bring so much joy. Do post when you get your results so we can all celebrate with you.
Welcome back! That's so incredible! I did wonder what had happened to you, and I'm so glad that it sounds like all very good things! And CONGRATULATIONS on getting through year one of med school!!
