This morning when I woke up, I wasn't feeling very good about getting up to Cleveland this weekend. However, I think I can manage it. I have a theoretical plan of leaving Friday night, getting up to Cleveland around 10-ish, sleeping as much as I can Friday night and Saturday night and returning Sunday afternoon. Perhaps I have a theoretical plan ( Read more... )

They're closed until May, which is weird because King's Island opened last week. Michelle won't be able to make it, which is sad.

At this point, I think I'm looking forward to doing one of two things in particular (if the weather's nice): watching Lake Erie, or wandering around that cemetery. Little Italy is a must for dinner, and I would not be opposed to the Art Museum if they've opened it back up. (Didn't they say it was closed until 2009 for Renovations?) Oh, and breakfast or lunch must be had in Coventry. I have recollections of lemon ricotta pancakes and the hippie lunch place with peach milkshakes and some form of pita involving alfalfa sprouts. You know what? Cleveland has better food than Cincinnati. I'm excited. Anything you wanted to do?

I wish you could have found out sooner. I have Hudson relays Saturday morning and I have to pick up a friend from down town at 7pm that night. I can spend the rest of the day with you guys, but we could not go to Cedar point unless we did it Sunday. I will be staying until July now if you want to do it another weekend?

At this point? I'm ready to make the drive for the pancakes. I remember them being fabulous. Cedar Point doesn't need to be done now (Maybe later. Vinnie's back has kept him off of roller coasters.) I have numerous books, most of which do not relate to the law at all. The Art Museum has an exhibit on Imperial Austrian Arms/Armor. That could be cool. Not as cool as ancient Jewelery, but still cool.

Mainly, my only concern right now is that I never learned how to parallel park, and I'm not remembering a place to keep my car that's relatively close without parallel parking.

You will not need to parallel park in our lot... Visitor spots are right behind the back door.

I am disappointed to hear about Michelle. Will Vinnie at least be joining us?

We can do all of those culinary outings you requested.

"Imperial Austrian Arms/Armor" you say? I MUST SEE THAT! I am a huge fan of Gothic style Baroque arms and armor. They made especially interesting pole arms, especially the Halberd. I hope they have through the 16th century when the best stuff was made!!! ::giddy clap of hands::

I will prepare for your arrival tonight then?

Vinnie unfortunately has exams next week. Consequently, he won't be able to come. Next time, I'm sure he will. And yes, I'll be there sometime tonight.

If you want to prepare yourself for the weapons exhibit, here's the link:
