OT seems kinda useless unless you've been seriously out of touch with the world for a loooooong time or have been completely and utterly incapable of helping yourself for a loooong time. From what I gather of how you're doing, you probably don't need OT. And I'm guessing someone who's blogging is probably mentally capable of managing their day-to-day life. The only reason for needing OT that I could think of is if your healing pelvis requires special care, i.e. you can't put too much weight on it or you can't bend all the way over, stuff like that. If that's the case, I could see OT as being helpful in teaching you ways to manage everyday life while making sure your pelvis heals properly.
Do however keep up with your PT (physical therapy) and do everything your physical therapists say. That stuff's really for your own good.
Um, yeah, Cheryl again.
