Oh the woes of getting a low TER

Well well wellidity wellidity. That was pretty useless but oh well!

So we got out Classics Special Study marks back today. Like always I hate the mark that I got. I got 19/20 and all I can think about is why I didn't get a 20. Am I not smart enough?

19/20 is a FANTASTIC mark!!!

You don't need a 20/20 for the special study to get a 20 overall for Classics. Don't forget, the pieces are moderated, that mark is merely the teachers opinion! Also, a good exam moderates everything up!

SSABSA moderation is a mystical magical thing.

You sound exactly like me though! I lost one mark in the whole year for philosophy, and I felt like a failure.

Smile!! On a 19/20 you're beating virtually my entire Classics class already.

but thanks :) Yes I think only one person in my class got a 20 but it still makes me sad. I think I was the only one to get a 19.

But I saw heaps of peoples marks for Modern (as we have the same teacher) and heaps of them got 20's.

My teacher is a REALLY tough marker, and 19/20 is a RARE mark in our class. I'm the only person this year to have gotten a 20 for a piece. So trust me, if you were at my school... you'd be comletely thumping us!

19/20? Are you kidding me? Thats brilliant! Well done! I would be SO happy with that.

Oh, by the way. Ive decided to push for Geography like you said. I wont take no for an answer from the teachers! Haha...

Open Access College. It is a correspondence school. If they don't offer subjects they suggest you take them there.

seriously seriously.

and getting a 19 for your special study firstly doesn't mean you won't get a 20 for classics and definitely doesn't mean you'll get a low TER.

be proud, 19 is fabby :) (eat cake in celebration :D)

I am very stressed about exams though seeing as I haven't started to study and wont be able to anytime soon due to all this other work that is due! DOOM.

Thanks muchness for your help for I probably wouldn't have gotten so good without it :)

and I can't eat cake as I am dieting. :(
