If you're going to have a baby, take care of it. i just cant understand how people bring these kids into the world and don't do everything in their power to help themselves so they can take care of their children. Agree completely with you. If you're old enough to have sex then you're old enough to raise a kid. Thats the risks you have to take when you make that decision about sex.

I completely agree with you, and Damek and I plan on adopting kids like that one day (of course we can't adopt everyone though). Is it entirely abandonment though? I had a friend growing up who was in a home like that because her mother was hospitalized and and her dad could no longer support everyone with the mother's bills included. Once her mother passed away she had already been adopted by a new family. Maybe you should adopt the little boy and stow him away in your closet and feed him cookies and draw him pictures:)

yeah, not all the kids where i go are abandoned... some are actually just waiting till their parent/guardian can take them back. they all have different stories... its just so sad though, even when their mom or dad is doing everything they can, a kid should have someone elses complete attention all the time and in most places that can't happen because there are too many kids

if they aren't all abandoned, they may just have any possible relative guardian that died or maybe product of rape. it is true though how many people are dumb to not use protection. of course the best thing is temporary celibacy but...that can't always happen. I just hate when people are just irresponsible and think "oh well it can't happen to me". I'm even paranoid that someday something will happen even w/ protection.
