I don't doubt that the Mets can beat the Yankees in the World Series. IF those two teams were to square off again, I'd be singing "Mr. Met" for a week. However, I doubt the Yankees will be in it. I'm not saying the Red Sox are looking like they will right about now, but I think either the Tigers or White Sox would eliminate the Yankees. Of course, if you were willing to make a wager on anything, I might be interested... :)

Oh misguided Joe, if the ChiSox win the Wild card, they can't play the Tigers in the first round!!!! the division winner of the division that the wild card comes from, can't play in the first round! that's why the yanks and red sux never played in the first round! And as for the Mets....they have as much chance at beating the Yanks in 7 as Homer Simpson has a chance to be this years Jets starting QB.....hey, wait...that might not be such a bad idea.....

Well my good friend Dave, you are right about one thing.....the Tigers and White Sox can't play each other in the NLDS. So I will amend that. Thanks!
