So, Bob in his infinite (?) wisdom (?) saw fit to dump me and Akira into Tokyo Bay on our return trip from Narnia. I am still pulling seaweed out of my hair. >_<
Looks like trout's on the menu again.
Buuut, we're back! Narnia was spectabularific! I have presents for a lot of you that I need to deliver or send off and a really cool coat from the Underground that Teiria Erde-san didn't want. Life is sweet.
Akira is sweeter. <333
For Hisoka: The bow is what the centaurs use. There's only one. I wanted you to see it outside of its case-thingummy. The book is gorgeous with hand-drawn illustrations. It's the Complete History of Narnia (4th Edition) written by one Mr. Tumnus. I thought you would like it.
For Tsuzuki: I know you like concerts and music and stuff, not sure if you play, but now's your time to learn. This is called an Opharine. The top is carved with the unicorn's head. It was made by a beaver. *__* I would have brought you something to eat, but it would have spoiled.
For Ginny: There was this troupe of what I suppose you'd call gypsies? I traded my grip tape for this. It opens down the front, so you should be able to wear it for quite awhile. The bottle was hand-blown by an Undine. The perfume inside is supposed to be really potent . It's called Asherath. I thought Light-san would appreciate it. ^_~ (OOC: pretend the color is whatever she wants. I haven't reloaded my photo editor to change it).
For Akaya: A really funny hat. It's bright red. I know you like primary colors. I almost got you tights, but decided I didn't want to hear you scream all the way from Kanagawa. :P
Okay, I fibbed. This is actually Pooky's. The guy at the market swore up and down that's a real dragon skull even if it is smallish. The dagger is cool. Don't let your dad see it or you'll probably get in trouble. No stabbing people! P.S. Yes, I also got you that goofy hat.
for Bobby Boo: A drinking horn! For Twinkie Beer! ^_^ Supposedly it's a minotaur's horn, but it looks a little small for that to me. The bottom cap thing can be flipped open and it can be used as a real horn like they show in all the Viking movies. Pretty cool, huh?
for Angel: This crossbow's about pistol sized. The cross thingummies fold in, so it can be easily concealed and quickly snapped into place. It fires surprisingly far. The stock (is that the right word) is made from Valonwood, which supposedly is one of the finest woods from that area of Narnia.
for Emmett Bear! I saw these and had to get them. They're ulleann pipes. Please don't let Rose kill me for giving them to you.
for Badou: A giant hare was smoking this pipe. I'd have bought you smokes, but they don't make them in Narnia. I did bring you their version of tobacco. Supposedly, the pipe is carved from some trees that grow in some ancient battlefield. Legend says the wood looks red because of the blood. Yeah, right. But it's a cool story. The rabbit only wanted one of my tennis balls in exchange, so what the hey.
for Setsuna: As requested, a nice emo dagger. I would have brought you a centaur bra, but they don't wear them! Maybe I'll get you a pair of honeydew melons.
for Jack: What to get the man who's lived long enough to have everything? Why, a leather codpiece, of course! You're probably the only person I know who'd actually wear it. ^_^ Actually, I couldn't figure out what to bring you, but I did think of you. <3
for Onii-chan: a drum. Because you like drums. But you can't play it until you buy me earplugs.
for Fuji-kun: A small wood and leather puzzle box. No idea what's inside. Have fun!
for Meggie: A book full of Narnia folktales. I hope you like it.
for Rena-san: A toy griffon. This has got to be the softest plushie I have ever touched. It's not as cute as I would have liked, but I hope you enjoy it.
for Nill: No, not from Narnia, but I burned you CDs of the Narnia audiobooks. I have all sorts of books on tape, so if you like these, let me know and I'll make you more.
ETA: Kyo! (I didn't forget you!) I actually traded for this on the ship. It belonged to the first mate--a cat by the name of Chauntimanci. >>
last but not least, Akira: It's a surprise! I'll show you when we're alone. O///O
What did I get myself? Well, some pretty rocks, a seashell--but not my ocean one, darn it, and a pretty flower a sylph was moving out of, oh, and a pair of earrings. ^_^
