So, I waited way too long to put this together, so I think I'm probably forgetting some stuff.
It ended up just being The Secret Handshake and The Academy Is... playing, so that was pretty cool. TSH was already pretty terrible, I'm not sure if I could've handled more terrible bands.
For TSH's first song, Luis had a guitar and it almost sounded like a legit band, minus the autotune. Then Every song after that, Luis did nothing but go back and forth on stage and offend people. Every song sounded the same and I did not enjoy their set at all. At one point, I guess that showed, and Luis goes "Look at this girl, she hates her life." Awesome. At least he knows I had no desire to see his band. Later, he said he wanted everyone jumping unless they were "retarded or in a wheelchair." How nice. They are seriously the worst band I have ever seen. I did not enjoy a single song of their set.
Onto The Academy. They played a ton of Almost Here, so that was awesome. This was my first time seeing them at a small venue full band, so it was pretty different. They put on a really good show though. William was singing and looking at me and pointed, then this kid next to me put his hand out for him to touch and William did, but was still looking at me, then touched my head and messed with my hair a little bit. I thought it was funny that the other person thought he was looking at them the whole time. Sisky talked about how last time they played there, he broke his finger and couldn't play for a long time. I like TAI shows because the crowd is never ridiculous, but there's enough movement and stuff to keep it interesting. Chiz didn't look too enthused. Mike was the happiest I've ever seen him. The Butcher did a lot of backing vocals, and he had his mic set up right in front of his set so he had to sit perfectly straight to be able to sing. It looked really uncomfortable and inconvenient, but it worked for him.

We went out the buses after the show and Sisky was already out there, so we talked to him. He and Joe talked about Coheed and prog rock junk for a while, then we went to Taco Bell because we were hungry and didn't want to wait and freeze outside. We got back and William and Mike were outside, so we talked to them. The kid in front of us talking to William asked for a hug and said he wasn't gay. Then William was like "I would hug you even if you were." Then Joe goes "I think we should all hug." so we did and it was funny. William said he like my Empires shirt and Joe's Coheed hoodie and Joe said he liked his coat and William said he bought it to look like Neo. Sisky, Mike, and William all commented on my shirt and Joe's hoodie. It was pretty funny.
