Hi Livejournal,

I'm compiling my Christmas wishlist, and I want to ask for some books as part of it. However, I'm not sure which I should ask for, and, as such, I'm requesting suggestions. Anything will do, just so long as it's good -- though I'd especially enjoy something in the same vein as the Perks of Being a Wallflower... I suppose a book ( Read more... )

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, as well as A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. Both are STUPENDOUS.

Hmmm...You might like Songbook, it's by the same guy who wrote High Fidelity. I am completely blanking on his name though...his last name is Hornby...
Anyway, it's just a collection of essays about music and what it means to people and such. I don't know, just a suggestion:)
