Writer's Block: Licensed to Drive

So I recently had a revelation. As we all know, America's legal drinking age is 21, whereas in most other countries it's 19 or less. America seems to think that 21 is an age where people magically become responsible with alcohol. I disagree. People become responsible with alcohol by experiences. Two problems with your idea:

The first:

If a person cannot drive until they're 21, that will make getting and keeping a job unless it's really really close to their place very difficult.

The second:

Old people don't just have issues with vision. They also lose reflexes as well. A lot more would need to be done to see if an old person is still able to drive and a driving test is probably the best way to keep that in check.

Other than that, I do agree that there are a lot of problems with the way these laws are put into practice. I welcome change ASAP.

I can't spell pharmacist right most of the time... and it's my profession -_-* also necessary. That word is hard!
