Still Trying to Podcast...

Yes, I'm not giving up on this...yet. I only need a few more things: The first is a website that I can post my podcasts on; a website that has the potential to store large amounts of sound files, Ripway can only host 30MB so that's out of the question because a short Podcast from me will be at least 100MB. if you need a website with large storage and decent speed, the only option is to pay for webspace. i've been paying for webspace for 3 years and i'll never go back to any of that free crap.

and as for podcasting, all i can say is there are already a lot of books on it, so check out borders and read a book and drink some coffee, try to learn something. and if not, search online. there are loads of informative sites on stuff like podcasting that will reccommend all the things you need.... obviously posting on your livejournal isn't doing enough.

That is true, and since that post I've learned a bit more about it. Also, while classes are now in session, my time is mostly devoted to studying History, History, some Political Science and more History. So, if it is something that involves extensive ammounts of study I usually put of until...whenever. I'm also not a coffee drinker plus bookstores are a dangerous place for me to go into because I never want to leave.

Then again, I could take the easy way out and fork over $80 for iLife '06 but I'm short on cash right now and there are otherthings I would ratherspend money on. Besides, from the noise coming from the iLife '05 users, Apple has some customer loyalty issues to work out first.

i also discovered mark hoppus' podcast site www.mynameismark.com which is pretty sweet.
