Back in August my dad's mother died. the whole family funeral scene was new to me too. My family had long been divided over things that happened in the past, and I thought that this would only make things worse. The night after her viewing (before her funeral) an amazing thing happened. my aunt invited the entire family over to her house for pizza. We have a small family, so it may not have looked like much, but it included certain members of the family who my aunt and uncle werent speaking to. I think that was the best time i ever spent with my family. As we were leaving, my dad told me not to ever expect to see my whole family all together like that again. He was wrong though. This Christmas we all gathered once again at my aunt's house to let the good times roll! It is sad that it took something so terrible to turn my family around, but it just shows that God can bring good from any situation. i love you my dear! keep praying and i will too! =)

Just know that I love you, and if you ever want to talk about it, I'm open. I'm going through the same sort of thing now (but of course it's different, because our families are different) with my dad's parents.
