My friends are getting engaged. And what's more- that means they're getting married. That. Is. Scary. SCARY! It makes me feel old and young all at the same time. Old because- married?! Seriously?! Now?! Heavens no! And young because- they must be a lot more mature than I am if they seriously think they're ready for all that responsibility.

You have a good point about the promise rings... I have a friend at church whose parents bought her a NICE promise ring if she promised not to have sex until she was married. So in that case, I think that the promise rings are ok. I've never really felt like they were the best idea ever, but meh. What do I know?
