I got out of church at 10:30 this morning, and have done nothing since except sleep on the floor in front of the TV with the AC on high, curled up in a giant blanket. How glorious. I am particularly content today for some reason.

P.S. -- I am bored and cannot sleep. I have this random urge to shoot off bottle rockets in the parking lot.

HIDA scan tomorrow morning early. Everybody cross your fingers and hope real hard that they actually find something this time, so they can shoot laser beams at my gallbladder and end this wretched suffering.

I was supposed to have the HIDA scan done for my gallbladder today, but nuclear meds up at the hospital was backed up like nobody's business, so I rescheduled it for Wednesday. I sincerely hope they find the problem this time, so they can fix it and let me get on with my life. I've been sick since December, and I'm getting desparate. I'm at the ( Read more... )

Here I am, crawling around sick again. For the past 2 days I've been on a diet of Darvocet, Tylenol, and Rolaids. Nothing's working. It's not even taking the edge off. Well, finally figured out why I'm so sick -- I have gastritis, which is an inflammation of the lining of the intestinal tract. I spent two nights in the hospital because of it. I was in so much pain they were pushing Demerol through my IV. Friday night it had no effect -- I still cried. But by Saturday I was starting treatment, so the Demerol ( Read more... )
