Peaches wild night out, my grandmother, the time change and more....

Oct 30, 2007 09:16

I am soooo ready for the time change and to gain that extra hour!  5:45 AM is coming earlier and earlier every day plus when you have a kid or kids that go to daycare or school or that are just on a schedule and you want/need them in bed at a certain time it's really hard when it is 7:00 or 8:00 and it's their bed time but it is still light outside ( Read more... )

Glad to hear your grandmother is going to be OK! That was some scary stuff. I hope they can treat the West Nile virus so that she feels a lot better.

Sounds like you had a great evening. Every once in a while we need that so that we feel like we're something other than just a mom. Maybe you could start doing that once a month, or once every other month. It's good for your morale. As for the coworker, I'm not sure what to tell you there. Just keep feeling things out. No need to rush. :)

Thanks she was going for some more testing today so we will see what they say and where the doctors want to go from here.

The other paralegal that I went out with mentioned that maybe we should try to do that more often. She is getting ready to adopt a baby (about a 12 month old) and will probably be going to Africa in Jan/Feb. The adoption has been approved she is just waiting for the call that they have a child and she can come. Anyway, I think she is trying to get in as much "free" time as possible before she gets the baby.

I will def. try to do it more often because it does make me feel better and more "refreshed" if that makes sense.

As far as the co-worker I am just not going to worry about it. Whatever happens happens. For now we have a great professional and working relationship and we feel comfortable with each other and can enjoy each others company outside of work as friends and that is good enough. If anything more is meant to happen it will.

Thanks Fraidy re my grandmother and as for the night out you somewhat inspired me with your paws and claws night. I think we all occasionally need some time like that where we go out and pamper ourselves, have fun, enjoy other peoples company and just not worry about anything for awhile. It def. can be rejuvenating!

Hope all is going well with you!

Hey sounds like you had fun!

And thanks for not calling me at 5 am (especially since I went to bed at 2 am too)because I don't think I would have been able to speak my own language then! lol

Boys and trains...must be something in the Y chromosome.

It was fun and very interesting! When I realized what time it was in Paris I realized there was no way I could call you and wake you up! Do you think it is something in the Y chromosome that they like cars, planes and dinosaurs too? I swear my son has a million dinosaurs, cars and I don't know how many feet of train track with two remote controlled trains.

Boys are def. very different from girls!

Right there with you about Fall (and Moonlight for that matter).

Will wait with held breath for the Cole pictures! Tigger is a perfect fit methinks!

Ah the Irish pub, a wonderful invention. Haven't been to one in ages but love them, especially the "singing" ones. Sounds like you had fun..YAY you!

Love,
Kathleen
