Hi! So there's this band on Friends or Enemies and they're called Mayday Parade and I'm kind of obsessed with them. They are SO, SO WONDERFUL. Derek's voice is sooooo sexy and some of their lyrics actually make my heart ache and they are just my very favorite. I'm so glad other people are getting something out of this primer! \o/

Thank you for this. I DL-ed their album on a whim last year and didn't stop listening to it for a week. I hadn't, however, bothered to look into them and would have walked right by any of them in the street, so thank you for this, now I won't. XD

I've taken the Tales Told By Dead Friends EP cos it's the only thing I don't have already. I'll also be back to watch some of those vids when time permits.

Again, thank you muchly for the AWESOME post. I'mma pimp it in my journal. =)

I KNOW, RIGHT? I'm like. WHERE IS ALL THE MAYDAY LOVE, PEOPLE? I only got two comments on the one in my personal journal, too. Only four comments for the Mayday love. FAIL.

I've had their music for ages, but I've been on a HUGE Mayday kick for the past like, five months or something, listening to them non-stop. Their music is just so amazing and they're all so gorgeous and wonderful, they are my very favorite!

And oh man, Tales Told By Dead Friends is AMAZING, you are going to LOVE IT. Some of their most beautiful songs are on there.

Just seeing this got me so excited because I REALLY, REALLY LOVE MAYDAY PARADE. SO MUCH. A LOT OF LOVE FOR THEM OVER HERE. God, their music is just amazing and now you've gotten me all flaily on a Sunday morning, jeez.

I got to see them back in late February and, yes, THEY ARE SO AMAZING LIVE, just like I thought they would be! It's just awesome to see another person that loves them this much! I remember seeing your lj name somewhere and thinking, hey, I wonder if they like MP.

And Alex Garcia is ADORABLE. Although, I do have a favorite, and he is in my icon. ♥

Ahahaha, yeah, I just changed my username and I was like, HEY, WHAT ABOUT MAYDAY LYRICS? My screen name is Mayday lyrics, too, I couldn't resist! I'm hardcore obsessed with them, it's kind of ridiculous and there is not enough Mayday love out there, we need to spread it around!

Alex is my VERY FAVORITE, he's kind of amazing, UGH. They're all just so, so awesome. Favorite band everrrr, I'm so glad you enjoyed the primer! \o/

No, they're from a mixture of places. Mostly friendorenemies.com and the Mayday Parade fans myspace, so I have no idea, sorry!

I find it very strange that I'm uber-attracted to Brooks, and I'm not really a huge fan of redheads. I think it's the tattoos...or the piercing...or maybe the way he totally rocks out on stage.

Same thing with Travis Clark. I dunno what it is. *shrugs*

Either way, I have YOU to thank for my new Mayday Parade obsession. I looked at the primer, checked them out, and I'm now completely hooked on the album and have already made plans to see them at Warped.
