A few months ago I had a friend of mine, a certified mechanic, replace the ball joints on my truck. Apparently, when he put the drivers side back together, he put it back together a little off kilter, and now my wheel bearings and spindle are all out of wack. That stinks. Hope everything goes ok. You could still defiantly write ( or type if you have a laptop) during your trip, even if you can't post it'll give you something to do. :)

Or if you have Leverage dvds and access to watch them, that's always a fun time passer.

I know what you mean. Back in April with the tornadoes in the South I didn't have cell service, cable, or internet for about 3-4 days. Thank goodness we still had a house, but it was rough not being able to get in contact with people. Though I did get out of writing a research paper...:)

Ooooh, I don't miss research papers. Leaving college has it's benefits!

I downloaded both seasons of Rizzoli and Isles exclusively for this trip. I've been meaning to watch it for a long time, and it's actually really hard for me not to jump the gun and watch it now.

Do ferrys these days at least have wifi?
I hate driving long distances as well, so I'm not sure which of the two I'd prefer.

It would make sense for a ferry that takes this long to have wifi, but so far as I understand, it doesn't.
