on site and walked across the yard with the bent metal rod and it turned without any prompting by me. what the article seems to suggest is that one fools themselves into thinking they did nothing when they did.... i really didn't think that it would detect the presence of water but i know that is another myth. I would love to demontrate this. The official policy of our company is that if you use one and THEY find out about it, you could be terminated , which sounds reasonable to me but, it did seem to work in the instance I witnessed.
