I can probably put you into contact with some organizations/NGO's that could use nursing skills. I do some work with an organization here that supports 25 different charities in the greater Bangalore area.

It is VERY easy to be vegetarian here. Everything everywhere is clearly labeled (red dot: non-veg, green dot: veg.)

Just curious on your interest in Tulu. And you mention Tulu Nadu. Tulu is spoken on in and around Mangalore where I stay. And sometimes it is referred to as Tulu Nadu [not officially].

I'm mostly interested in religious rituals I heard happen in Tulu Nadu - since I was a teenager I've been very interested in certain types of spiritism - when I lived in new york city I got involved with some of the afro-caribbean stuff, and I heard about things in Tulu Nadu that sounded similar.
