i was listening to "what do you mean?" on a loop while reading this, because it has (unwillingly) become the soundtrack to vhope in my mind, and it fit surprisingly well, what with the whole idea of trying to read the signs etc.
i haven't come across your writing before, so i don't know if this is a common thing, but i thought there was a really magical element to it that made me feel very warm inside, so THANK YOU.
also, i loved that you brought up the theme of struggling at times with this lifestyle, that's something i think about a lot and it made the whole thing feel very real.
oh, and yoongi! help! (did i detect a moment of sneaky yoonmin almost?)
also this made me want to go to tokyo. "the city of tokyo never dies"? now, that's a line. magic.
