oh man this was very satisfying?? i like the way you wrote their age difference and the gap metaphorically closing as the years passed five years could be long but it could be short, too i just rly adore jinkook and tbh i wasn't expecting anyone to write them so i'm glad you wrote this!

augh this fic ;~~~~~~; i have so many feelings i!!! happy sigh lol there were so many nice turns of phrase throughout this that kept making me clutch my face and yell bc WOW. i kept imagining the atmosphere of this fic as warm, sweet summer love ;~; although ofc it extends much beyond that!! i love that they knew each other in childhood and their circles of experience repeatedly intersect throughout the years, until now it seems no matter how far they stretch, there'll still be a tiny thread of connection ;;;; character interactions/personalities/descriptions (esp qt maknaeline) was rly great and it seemed like you captured their qualities v well~

some lovely lines: Seokjin is not gradual; Seokjin is one still frame and then another, with millions of missing transitions in between, and Jeongguk feels somewhat bewildered by all the missing pieces, and where he fits in among them, if he fits in at all. & texts a string of solemn SOS messages at Taehyung and Jimin & he wonders how long he's been the same height as Seokjin. & Jeongguk ( ... )

ahh, i loved this! the way you tell a story is so great here, the slow development of their characters and their relationship over time. i really liked how you wrote from young jungkook's perspective, too - it feels right, never too babyish or too conscious of him being that age. the summer vacation feeling, lazy but knowing it's going to end eventually, comes out so well here. thank you for this story!

wow i really really love this ;__________; it conjured up so many emotions for me and you capture the uncertainty of growing up and the bittersweet nostalgia that follows so perfectly! i love how you emphasized how different they are so many ways--age, interests, goals--while still developing upon the strength of their relationship and the amount of affection they have for each other, how jungkook struggles to figure out his place in a life so different from his when sobs he really doesn't have to worry so much because it happens naturally as if it's fated *______* ahh i have so many other things i want to say but lack the ability to communicate them coherently so here are some hearts: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥!!!

This was adorable, Jungkook was endearing in this, so inexplicably attached to his hyung
and then they're not in love, not in the romantic sense, but they're still tied together and idk it's cute really nice in a lazy summer afternoon sort of way
