Between Eleven and Twelve... is Nine and Rose.

[ooc: being made of fail happens when work over-runs you and end of the month prompts take over your brain. That being said I missed my friend Amy's birthday and so because of that I'm making up for it with EPIC fiction posts. This is Fiction Post 1, and it is clearly crack and hilarity or something similar.

Her head pressed along the walls of the TARDIS, the jostle every once in a while knocking her head back a bit as he moved around the console. He was always of in his own little world when he flew her. Pushing buttons, pulling levers, and she was pretty sure every now and again he whistled... sort of hummed a bit too in the same pitch as the bellows in the center of it all.

"Still not tellin' me where we're of to then?" Rose pushed off the side crossing the grating and ending up against the railing where both hands held her wait as she leaned back to look at him.

His brow furrowed as he watched her nearly hang over backwards over not much at all, like she was a monkey, or maybe one of those GiiYaNee's he met back on Tarsys Five. Funny little things with arms longer than their bodies, always hanging on things. Always asking questions much like Rose was now.

"Nope. 'Sides how'd you even know if we were there anyway? I could land us in the middle of Egypt in the fortieth century, tell you it's Paxnia and you'd never know the difference," he assured her as he flipped another switch on the console.

"I'd know."

"Right sure you would, I'm betting that's not entirely true at all. Wager a bet?"

"With you?" Rose scoffed at the idea straightening upright before turning to lean against the rail, "I've been traveling with you for what... month now? I already know well better than that."

"Suit yourself, but I'm going to stick by my original notion about you Rose Tyler. Egypt in the fortieth century and you'd think it was... well whatever I told you it was."

Sighing she crossed her arms over her chest in defiance though she was pretty sure it was true, she hated when he did that. It wasn't exactly easy to put up with all the things she didn't know, but to know that she wouldn't know what it was until he told her? Well it took the fun out of it a bit.

"Oh come on!" Rose pleaded, her voice not quite yet a whine, but edging closer to the point that the Doctor's eyebrow raised up at the pitch of her voice. A big grin with the tease of her tongue pressing between teeth came quickly over her features, "Just a hint? A little word? A name? Anything, really.. really I'll take anything."

"Alright then. I'll give you a name." Rose waited for a moment as the Doctor thought it over for a bit, "How's 'bout Rusty Ryan."

Rolling her eyes came almost naturally at that one. "Yeah, I should've been more specific right? Mean you just off and told me any old name. I know that one, it's from a Brad Pitt movie. That Casino one."

The Doctor nodded, "So it is, but the movie's based off something I'd wager to think. Or maybe there are some worlds where all the movies are real, and that's just where Hollywood and all them steal the notions from? Think bad movies are created just because someone wasn't smart enough to say no? There are worlds of bad things going on, and horrible choices and even worse outfits being worn."

The look on her face was one of near dumbstruck, but still hinted with curiosity in her eyes, "So you're saying every movie... ever made... is really out there somewhere being lived? Like really happening?"

"Well they really can't just end the way they do on screen now can they? Lives being lived, things being built? Can't just stop it cause the credits roll. Sequels too! Can't have sequels if the world just stops at the end of it."

The amount of disbelief in Rose at the moment was growing by immeasurable leaps and bounds. She felt like this was a test, that this was one of those times where Rose Tyler believed it all because the Doctor himself claimed it was true. Planets where rain came from the ground and went up, and whole universes based on the thought that the word Yes was actually a greeting. This clearly was another one of those times, but Rose wasn't sure just how to dismiss it as easily as the Doctor was explaining it. It didn't matter because the sudden shift came and the TARDIS had stopped at wherever it was meant to go.

"You coming then?"

"Coming where? You still haven't told me where we've gone off to?"

"I told you. Worlds where the lives that the movies you know and love are the inspiration for. We just happen to be at the wedding for Danny Ocean and Tess. Second one really, but still it's good enough. First one didn't go so well I heard."

Both hands went up into her hair pulling it away from her ears and then back letting her hands collect almost all of it into a small knot of nothing really worth tying. "So you mean to tell me that there's a lot of guys that knocked off three casino's, are all really good looking, and it's a wedding with cake?"

The Doctor folded his arms over his chest, the sound of the leather jacket barely creaking in the elbows as he looked at Rose with a bit of annoyance, "I already explained once before, do I have t'again? I mean I can, but you'll miss all the fun."

Shaking her head she assured him that no further explaining would be needed at the moment but now she had questions, "Wait... do they... I mean do they look like the actors? Dopplegangers and all that?"

"Course they do. They're all shape-shifters though, they can look like whoever they want. Makes it easy for Hollywood types to cast the actors I suppose. Just look into their Orb of Zaxxion and then they'd write it all down. Sort of makes you wonder why you lot even have those award shows. Bunch of plagiarists!"

It was all sinking in and Rose nodded along letting her hair fall back down to her shoulders, "Right... so I'm going to a wedding where there are really people that look like the people in those movies, and their lives are the same as what was on the screen?"

"Yes Rose, now can we go? I think they're makin' a toast, fantastic one I bet."

Exhaling a short breath and feeling much more sure of herself she grinned over at the Doctor, "Yeah we can go now."

The doors to the TARDIS swung open and the light sounds of Sinatra drifted over to them, and Rose wondered if she was under-dressed, but as the doors shut behind her it didn't really matter. A server passed them handing her a glass of champagne which she thanked them for. Weaving through the crowd it was easy to see that they'd missed the actual ceremony but that didn't really matter too much. It was a bit alarming ot look around and see who she was seeing though. The faces of what she could've considered all of a very powerful Hollywood circle all just milling about as if they weren't the stars of a movie series.

She felt a hand touch to her elbow and usually she'd lean into it knowing it was the Doctor, but there was something questionable in the contact, a bit of hesitation in it and Rose turned around to find herself face to face with who she would've earlier known as Scott Caan, but clearly knew now that he was the real... really real Turk Malloy.

"Miss..."

"Tyler, Rose Tyler."

"Great name. I'm Turk. I'd ask if you were a friend of the groom, but I'm pretty sure I know all of Danny's female friends. So I'll assume you know Tess."

"I sort of... well I know them both offhand really. More like in passing?" Rose was trying to figure out how to talk to him, because it was getting a bit more surreal than she'd expected it to get. Mostly because she was talking to a fictional character that she'd just realized was based on a real alien, that was now in front of her talking to her, and maybe flirting with her too.

As his fingers slipped across her arm and rested against the the crook of her elbow she was positive he was flirting with her. The light straying touch and she really thought she might lose her legs out from under her. Though she pulled it together and any light headed feelings she'd dismiss as effect of the champagne she was drinking.

"So they seem happy yeah?"

"Danny and Tess? For now sure, but I'm sure something will happen eventually."

"Right, Benedict or someth-" The look on Turks face sort of shifted suddenly, his eyes narrowing at her and the once soft touch now felt a bit more firm against her elbow.

"How do you know about Terry Benedict?"

Suddenly Rose realized the problem. Danny and Tess got married... again... but before the second movie had happened. Terry hadn't found them yet, and this meant that maybe... she just ruined the second movie. Time travel was enough to deal with, and now she had to worry about films and scripts too?

"Nothing.. just that he was with Tess as well, friend of the bride remember?"

Turk nodded smiling at her again, "Yeah right. Sorry, just I hate the guy."

"Yeah," Rose agreed quickly, "Me too. Tess did right this time."

A light laugh from Turk and he slipped her arm into his pulling her further into the party, where no doubt Rose would spend the evening drinking and dancing with people that shared the looks of men she'd never get close enough to no matter the timeline.

"So Rose... I like your accent, where are you from? Russia? I hear they have wonderful brides there."
