I am very happy to hear that you are alive and very sad to hear that it was a disastrous year. The Year of the Snake did that to A LOT of people I know; my girlfriend Sandy whose business in Northern Ontario in tourist country had its second most disastrous year financially in over 25 years; my girlfriend Tammy whose entire livelihood depended on a partner who, after she bought a house for him (!!??) refused to live with her, although he has been faithfully paying rent, and has now indicated intent to vacate on April Fools Day, and who will probably fire her from the job he provided her with now that things have gone so far south; me, of course, enough said as I've whined continuously, CD, numbers of other filkers, etc etc etc

I'm sorry last year sucked for y'all, but glad you're managing to hold on. I hope you can come to Conflikt; you're always a highlight of the con.
