If you don't do story outlines then a rough draft of the story at that point in time would do. whatever you finished at that point in time. We just need to check in with you to know that you're still writing and still eligible for the art.
The extensive outline/rough draft is due on March 15, so if you're done with the fic by then then that's what you submit. I'm sure you could tweak it once or twice before June.
We're fine with however long your summaries are. There is no minimum word count for your summaries. Just remember that the primary reason for summaries are for the author-artist match ups. There are only six artists, and they will choose from a list of 19 stories. In a way your summaries are like ads.
It's more likely that an artist would choose something that appeals to them, but a good summary would also sell your fic.
The summaries here are not final since this is the start of the writing period. You may still want to change the summaries at the end of the big bang to entice readers, that's fine. If you want to cut it down later for the archives, or expand it that's fine too.
After a false start followed by three weeks of scratching my head and wondering what on earth I was going to write for this, I think I have finally found a workable idea. I'm feeling relieved and just wanted to share!
I'm so happy that you found an idea to use. Don't hesitate to drop by and tell us about it whenever you're here. :) We always love to hear from the authors and artists :)
I'm going for sort of a murder mystery without the murder. It'll have post-series angst, but I'm going for humor and snark instead of crushing despair and darkness.
Thanks to Alabaster, I finally got myself a full idea on what to write. Series of interconnected fics about the Gaang coming across Mai and Zuko going at it like Monkeyrabbits, and the reactions of each, as well as the slow jading of the group to the sheer depravity of how open the two are, regardless of location or the people therein

With that said, it's up to you.
