Its time to buy a car. *Sigh* We have avoided it as long as humanly possible but the good ol buick isn't really going along with the plan anymore. We don't want another throwaway, but probably aren't going to spend more than $12,000-$15,000 on it. So...if anyone has recommendations and whatnot, let me know.

Hybrid but that is going to be above your cost range, the Scion's are great on fuel mileage and are made by Toyota so they are GREAT cars. It's what the wife drives and she gets like 40MPG I drive a Element and get 27MPG

See we hadn't thought about that, and it may actually be worthwhile to spend the extra money up front to save it on gas later. Thanks!

www.carmax.com we have bought 3 cars from them now. The Lithia Springs branch. Ask for Mark Smith

We love car max no hassle and no hidden BS in the contract. What the tag says it is is what the price is no haggling BS.

Good deal. I was going to see if anyone had used Carmax. I've heard good things in the past, in great contrast to the JD Byrider horror stories. Thank god our credit's good.
