As some of you may know, my younger sister has Down's Syndrome. As a result, we are involved in a large community of disabled people and their families. Many of these families do not have much money, and often can't afford to do many special things for their loved ones. Its a much larger event than it has been, mostly because we were previously at a much smaller salon and being at Paul Mitchell gives us 70 salon chairs vs the 12 or so we had before. The whole thing is just a really fun experience. I would love it if you could come out. I'm sure the kids would absolutely love you.

Day of Beauty 2009 is coming right around the corner. The event this year will be on Monday April 20th at The Paul Mitchell School-Atlanta downtown. I am looking to DOUBLE the size from last year.
