Advice from my mom: she noticed that I would fall asleep in her arms and then scream when put to bed. She finally put me to bed wrapped in the blanket that she had been holding me in. Apparently I was reacting to the temperature change. Worth a shot!
Tessa screamed bloody murder when I would put her in the carriage we had. It was such a cool carriage but she hated it! I ended up using the stroller much earlier than I had planned because of that. I'm hoping Piper will go for the carriage...
I forgot I was on my mac and it doesn't log me in immediately. I just realized that what I said was no help whatsoever and just an observation about my screaming baby. Have you tried those vibrating baby seats? I've never used them but maybe that will lull him to sleep.
What I do for my screaming babies... rock to sleep swaddled up nice and warm in a blankie and hold another with you so it keeps warm. Once he's out put him all swaddled into the craddle and then put the the other mommy/daddy warmed blanket on him. It usually works pretty well for my cranky premies. You can also get one of those positioner things, so he feels all cozy while he's in the cradle, we call it nesting.
