Make sure you really nail the direction of her eyes so that it also serves as an arrow to the bird. The bird's beak should also be perfectly aligned. I think you could do more interesting things with the panel layout. Think about it? Play around with it a bit more (read comics).

Maybe look at comics by Tesela like Ode to Kirohito which has intense panel layout shit.

Haha you know I actually did that for a project but only because someone "accidentally" chopped up my mdf board. Aaaaargh.

Are you going to have a series of paintings and then hang them in the proper form, or will this be all on one canvas?
