I realized a few moments ago that I have never actually read the full text of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s I Have A Dream speech. I was checking Megatokyo to see if a new comic had been posted when I noticed Dom's rant at the bottom of the page. Sometimes I read the rants, mostly I don't, but for once his current blog was short and sweet. It was

we watched the speech in english class... it's really not surprising he presented a threat to power.
the oratory skills, combined with the power of his words.......

yeah.
anyway, that milkbone of hope is exactly why the obamamania is freakin' me right out. too darn cynical...
