your entry rings a familiar bell---- the sights and sounds of the last four, five months of your life reminds me of my time on the east coast.
...except, imagine urinating in the same toilet with two of your closest girl-friends (if you were a girl, as i am) in a montreal pub. or simultaneously throwing up together at a strip club over leather chairs. i kind of miss those days but i don't miss feeling nauseous.
*on an extra note, never drink on an empty stomach! the fact that we're southeast asian should be reason enough not to drink. damn our gastrointestinally-challenged forefathers that eat everything that grazed the sunlight.
haha oh bao, good thing you snapped out of those early days of fraternity pipedreams - how young and malleable our novice college minds were that first month!
My experiences pledging/joining a fraternity were a mixed bag...a combination of pure elation mixed with some of the worst stress of my life.
To be honest, I'm not terribly sad about that part of my life being, for the most part, over (although I feel fortunate to have made the friends from it that I'll hopefully keep).
