thoughts long overdue

it's trite to write about rain. but tonight its late july and i like the spontaneity.

ten recent life-affirming discoveries:
(1) just a second ago something developed in me and i now hate the spontaneity of summer rain because its humid.

#7 yes, admittedly pirates of the carribean sucks. the acting sucks, the plot sucks. but i like it cuz johnny depp is hilarious and orlando is cute.

(9) soft-shell crab sushi in old town pas is fucking good until you realize you'd have to order a double-double with fries to adequately suffice the remaining hunger.

couldn't have said it better. i daintily place $50 worth of sushi in my mouth, yet 2 hours later i come home and make myself a big plate of fried rice.

i deal with sushi in a method i call "spatial eating." this entails chewing at an excrutiatingly slow speed, swallow, and make conversation for 5 minutes. repeat.

the meager plate of sushi could last a mealtime, or maybe its just psychological.

Yes, another person who sees the first PG-13 Disney movie that involves pirates as a sack of shit. I am no longer alone in the world in that aspect. God bless ;-)
