[The feed shows that China is inside the house he's chosen to live in. It's still pretty empty, save for a pot that's boiling in the fireplace, cooking some soup. China is sitting cross legged on the floor near a table, where there's a cup of green tea and a plate with of some type of meat on it. There's a pair of chopsticks lying near the bowl

I've been here for a couple of weeks now. Where are you now, anyway, aru?

Really? There's no Asian themes or anything? [Because East means Asia to China.]
It's not too bad here in Dissimulo, aru. Plenty of animals to hunt and use for food. There's also this old prison off in the distance. I plan on exploring it at some point.

Well, it'd certainly be a nice change of scenery. And rice paddies would be very useful here...
...
Is...your shoulders alright?

Xie xie! It's nice to know that there are other people who appreciate Eastern themes, aru!
Oh, this? [He puts a hand on one of his wounded shoulders and smiles a reassuring smile.] It's fine, aru. A bit sore, but fine. A cougar managed to get me on our way here.

It'd be interesting to see that's for sure.
Ah---that's terrible! How did you manage to get away with just some shoulder wounds?

Yes, it would. Besides, it's been awhile since I've had a bowl of hot rice that was decently cooked, aru. [Back home, with the war going on, he hasn't had many good foods in awhile.]
My traveling partners managed to draw its attention away from me. I also managed to get it with my knife, but not before it could sink its claws into my shoulders.

Not only that, but Japan was acting slightly uneasy when we last spoke to one another. Then when I asked him if he knew what that strange mushroom shaped cloud was, he told me to ask you about it "if" you were able to reply, that is.

Oh... well. Yeah. To everything. It's a lot to explain and I'm not really sure where to start or what to say, or how much should be public knowledge.

[China wouldn't be surprised if he had.]
I guess I can't force you to tell me if you don't want to, but I will ask you this. In your time, have you seen any evidence of the things Japan has done to my country in my time?
[If this had been any other time that was not during the WWII era, China would not be as hostile to Japan.]

Xie xie. A Chinatown would probably do very well here if enough people are interested in the Chinese culture and food, aru. The only problem is getting people to help me build it and finding the right materials. Although, if there's no one else to turn to, I won't mind cooking all the food, aru! [Dissimulo certainly had many good herbs if he looked hard enough and there were plenty of animals to hunt, like cougars!]
I'm also happy to see that I'm not the only one who wishes to bring more Eastern tastes to this strange world. [Maybe he could build one in Discedo as well... Yes, now there's an idea that could bring in a lot of money...]

Yamino?
It's not that hard once you get the hang of it, aru. I wouldn't mind teaching you a few things myself.

That's a good point, aru. After all, we don't even know what's in that old prison. Although, rice paddies would still be useful, wouldn't they?
[He smiles and rubs the back of his neck sheepishly.]
I tend to get carried away when it comes to building another Chinatown, aru. I've built so many in the past and they've all been successful so far.

You're.. an expert in building Chinatowns or something?
Reply
[China continues to smile sheepishly.]
Ahaha... sort of, aru. I've had experience with building things and farming too! The only place where the Chinatowns haven't done so well is in Korea... [Why? He doesn't know.]
Um... You're name is Ange, right? [He remembers the other from the wagon.]
