HA! I liked Nader. But this year I'm too scared to do it. Why aren't the independent parties welcomed to the debates? Oh I know, because they'd win and the media is controlled by Republicrats. Blah.

the other parties often have some sort of debate, but of course are seldom invited to the major ones. last election, there was one that aired on NPR and had six or so parties. since they had so many people, they didn't debate directly but rather just explained what their parties believe generally and with regards to important issues. there were candidates from the Green Party, Libertarian Party, Socialist Party, Constitution Party, Reform Party and someone else that i am forgetting.

the debate this year is tomorrow actually and they have invited Obama and McCain and i think Nader(Independent), Barr(Libertarian), and maybe the Constitution party candidate. it has been organized by Nader and the Green party candidate McKinney is not going to be in it. of course, Obama and McCain are not expected to show.
