Just a joke that got silly. I was worried my mother would be getting evil ideas from the 'Making babies the gay way' program on 4 this evening.

She hadn't actually been watching it and when I explained that I didn't want her getting evil ideas she told me that I should wash my mouth out with carbolic for suggesting anything remotely grandmotherish for her!

I figured I would see how many people commented with a 'huh' or something similar.

Evil? Moi?

yup
Natalya - still not pregnant.

I'm not either.

Interesting programme though. I preferred this week's to last week's.

I didn't see last week's but was told it was very cringeworthy.

I didn't like Barrie and Tony, they REALLY bugged me, they remind me of shallow gay men I know through uni who also bug me.

Heh

Me neither although I may have PMT.

I am avoiding that programme like the plague. Every mailing list I see is full of emails saying "Watch this programme! It's great! We want to use this technique when we're 30 and we will have such lovely bouncy happy children and they will all be girls and"...uh huh. May I please be excused from class? I feel ILL.

There have been a lot of disgruntled voices coming out the pinkparents yahoo email list about it - as a contrast. Mainly about how stereotypical the couples were. What email lists were all these positive comments coming from?

Local University LBG lists. I'm not a subscriber to anything with the name '-parent' - I don't want children and I don't want to hear about everybody else's gory efforts to have them. People can go off and do whatever they want on lists whose topic is about parenting, but I really don't appreciate being told about it on lists that I joined to hear about LBG events.

Ah, university lists off topic error.

I unsubbed from the NUS LGB hotmail horror because it was full of every little tiny ranty protest under the sun so the gay stuff got all diluted and washed away in it all.

I am sure our uni lgb ppl loved it *vom* still I went into the lounge and left them a snarky note about it being shithole, untidy and no fucking cups (we have a kettle and tea coffee etc but no cups STILL) - so much for kicking half the (representative members) off committee for not being shiny or queeny or sceney enough.

PMT - think I have that too, nearly stabbed things earlier trying to get to a project meeting.
