Nothing like cleaning up to be a great workout. So excited to have a dehumidifier in the basement. It means that we can put items down there no and not worry about rust or mildew

Awww...neighborhood trick-or-treating is the best! ^^ You'll probably start seeing the kids around sundown-ish (some of the very young ones will start during sunset). And they shouldn't stay out terribly late. The older, asshole high school students will sometimes stay out until midnight, but the regular trick-or-treaters should be heading home around 10 or 11 latest. General rule of thumb for passing out candy: you are not obligated to open your door to every doorbell ring. So if it starts to get too late, just shut off your porch lights (the universal sign for "come here for candy!" lol), and ignore the doorbell as best as you can.
Oh, but it should be so much fun!! You should dress up too! Wear your pretty pretty kimono or something! *grin* Aw, I can just see you wearing your kimono with your hair up, handing a Kit Kat to a teeny Harry Potter. *giggles* How cute!! ^~
...I haven't had much sleep lately. ^^;
Anyway! Have fun on your first neighborhood Halloween! ^~
This is my first halloween at home too. Is it OK to give one candy per kid? I didn't buy much because i have NO IDEA how many kids will come. I remember my mom havign problems with if you put the bowl in front of them the big kids will grab handfuls
Yeah, I think one candy per kid is fine...just kind of depends on the size of the candy. If it's the size of a peppermint mint...then, I'd say get another bag of candy. But if they're "fun size" candy bars, one is fine. ^^ Have fun!
