my favorite j-pop era

i am one to think that if i could pick only one year's worth of oricon-ranked j-pop to listen for the rest of my life, i'm sure i'd pick 2000.
that was the time period that had, i believe, hour singles that hit the double-million mark.

Hm i remember i liked ageha-cho... was that an ending theme to something? Or am i thinking a different song... For Full Metal Alchemist I think?

ageha-cho was the next big single after saudade... so it was like 2001. afaik the only anime-related singles were

hitori no yoru (gto)
melissa (fullmetal alchemist)
winding road (ayakashi ayashi)
