It seems not completely surprising to me that yesterday I woke up violently panicky and my left ankle was so swollen that I spent the whole day limping around at half my usual speed, leaning heavily on my stick. My physical and mental health is linked pretty closely. Nor does it surprise me that today I woke up panicky and my nose was full of dust ( Read more... )

It is annoying that allergic rhinitis spray is all aqueous now. kimble used to be okay with the non-aqueous stuff, probably CFCs but now she can only use flixonase for about 4 weeks before getting nose-bleeds etc. She's going to use it for our house-move this year, as it is early danger season for her, although it is starting already...

Well I had pasta with tomato sauce last night and have some left over for tonight...

Hadn't actually occurred to me that it was tree sex season, but of course it is. I was thinking I was getting a cold. Fortunately for me, antihistamines do seem to work, and without too much of side effects (unlike my mum, where the antihistamines do what they are supposed to, but are also effective as sleeping pills). So I guess I should go and buy some. Hope the doctor has something useful to suggest to you.
