when i graduated from mhs the kids in french II all made me a card like that and i keep it above my desk, even if i'm not going to be a highschool teacher anymore. it makes me miss knowing that's what i'll be doing in a year. i don't know if being a professor could possibly be so rewarding. funny, the directions life pulls us in.

now that everyone here is getting their practicum/student teaching assignments, and it's all these edu kids i used to have class with, it makes me kind of sad that i rescinded. i mean, i know that there are opportunities i have now that i couldn't have dreamed of if i was still in the SEdu, but still. I could have like, changed some kid's life.
Here's to hoping that some poor ass catholic highschool in the boonies wants a Latin teacher during my broke years as a grad student, and you get some badass teaching gig right out of undergrad...cheers.
