Library life. As I've described before, studying for exams here takes on a whole new associated lifestyle. Because our exams are worth so much (around 80-100% depending on your degree) our entire final "quarter," if you will, has no lectures or tutorials or anything and is dedicated solely to studying ("revision"). Yesterday it was sunny (actually. sunny.) so we sat on The Meadows with guitars and revision notes and smoked wacky tebackey and then I owned at Mario 64. Now I'm eating Pechams salami, grey poupon and cherry-beer and am not revising for my Ling exam tomorrow, for which I feel pretty prepared, but maybe that's a bad feeling. All day revising for Logic, through close to 500 pages of lecture notes from Prof Ket, just went through Bertrand Russell's Theory of Names and Descriptions, and this is what I've got, what actually made its way into my cognitive conscious thought and got written down and underlined:

Looking at old LJ entries always gets me thinking thoughts. I see these specific "phases" in my adolescence -- maybe like five or six, roughly -- primarily defined by who I was hanging out with and where and what my motivation was etc. From, ya know, thirteen onward I had a really ridiculously good social life.
