Thank goodness you're both okay! As horrible as it is to have your things stolen, at least they can be replaced. Your safety is the most important thing here.
I'm so sorry this had to happen to you! Sending all my love and hugs your way.
Definitely go for the door-fixes and all, since they are now thinking that they got away with it, and might want to come back. There was a lady in the St Louis area on the news, that was robbed 4 times and never once saw who did it. They just came, and left with stuff. :( Did "yours" hit anywhere else in the neighborhood?
One other thing you might need to do, is get some pieces of 1x1 or 2x2 board, and cut them to fit snugly between the window and upper sill. That way no one can get in those low windows without breaking them. Jim told me about that trick for Debbie, but I'm sure you can make use of an easy, inexpensive fix like that...
*hugs more, and wishes she could tuck Mom & Barb into her pocket*
MEW! I was just gonna call you guys and things too and mow! Grandma I be so so so... SO freaking happy you just went to sleep, you're so tiny and cute. That's so scary. And things... I'm happy for you guys being okay... and sad you wont get all the money/stuff back but at least something is better than nothing...

I'm linking this to the S'cubies (board's finally back up) so expect massive waves of psychic support heading your way.
Julia, so sorry that you lost your stuff, but glad no-one was hurt!
