 I attended Parents/Teachers conferences Thursday and Friday. Usually I dread them because I'd hear from every teacher how the kidlet didn't turn in all her work, isn't working to her potential, etc

Yeah, what else do you call a teen? They're still a kid, but a 'little' more adult-like. Sometimes. :)
