We had to put our dog down last friday because she got very sick and the vet said it was something nurological. She said the treatment would be very expensive, the dog may die in the process and it may not help her. So the vet said it was best to put her down. So I guess it was the best thing to do but it still sucks donkey balls. We miss her like ( Read more... )

I don't know if it's god or fate but something made so there was nothing we could do to make the dog well

Geez, Mylo, I just read this. A few years back I, personally, had to put my dog down. Brutus was a half German Shepard, half Doberman and he was the best dog we ever had. My dad brought him home when he was just a pup fitting right into our hands. We had him until he was 12 when he started exhibiting medical problems which ultimatelty resulted in his death. I was so sad and I miis him terribly.

I keep a "Brutus Shrine" on my wall consisting of his choke chain and leash. You'll be ok, I promise. I know my Brutus'll never be replaced but I relish in the fact that I'll never forget what a wonderful companion he was and how much we loved him. =)
