Misconceptions
1. "She gets good grades and answers questions in class.  She must be elitist/brilliant/not-understanding-of-my-less-than-stellar-grades."
2. "She doesn't talk to me.  She must think she's better than me/be boring/hate me/not care about me."

The Truth
1. I so don't care what grades you get, and am not any smarter than you.
2. I'm shy.
