I tore my ACL and the meniscus cartilage in my left knee on Jan 5th falling of the mechanical bull at the Saddle Rack. The heel of my boot got caught as I was falling off and my knee twisted and popped. I had surgery on Jan 30th and was immobile a few days after, which really sucked. Now I have a new ligament from a cadaver. I wonder if the

yeah...that's so gross.

My dad had the same surgery, and got a cadaver ligament too.
I remember it taking a while before he was ok. It still pains him on occasion.

I've actually been doing pretty good and walk almost normal already. Stairs are still a bit awkward though. I hear it will take a year before I'm 100% and that the cold weather can affect it.
